Club News
Alton Railroad Bed is now officially part of our trails, Jim R and Mark B signed it the first week of January.
Pound Rd crossing. Brooks gave permission to use their property as did Ontario Midland to cross the tracks. We need to get across the creek and then we'll be set. They asked that we salt the crossing at Rob's to prevent icing but our use is OK.
Ontario Midland also asked that the Lake Ave crossing not be crossed at the switch, but rather we should cross the track on the roadway. There is new snow fence there to prevent sleds from crossing in the wrong place.
Fundraising
Valentines day ride/event at PFD Date has been moved to the 9th so as not to interfere with Marion Safety course. Children 3years + are welcome to attend the event at Pultneyville fire hall. Trails
The trail up the hill between Valero and Rascals: Stay on the left DO NOT GO STRAIGHT THROUGH THE TREES.
There is a new detour between Salmon Creek and Ridge Chappel, use caution as there is a deep ditch near the trail in some areas.
It is important that if you see a dangerous situation on the trails to report them to a trail coordinator! We can't fix problems if we don't know about them!
Groomers are both in excellent working order!
Groomer Barn
A property on Redman Rd might be available. Funding is an issue, we will look into what the situation is and follow up later.
