BOD Meeting
Meeting Called to order 7:05 pm.

In attendance - Mark Barnes, John Faulks, Ron Dean, Tim Woodhams, Wayne Morgan, Jeff Morlock, Paula Chapman and Darlene Lombardo.

The Board had extensive discussion about non-for profit status.
Not for profit considerations.
Cost will be a big problem.
We need three years of financial records, Tax ID number.

John F made the point that the club should hire a CPA to handle the paperwork for the Charitable Organization designation. The costs would be worth it to get it right and more importantly get it done. Current club finances make it tough to do now.

Lifetime membership rules:
- Club members must contact the club each year to obtain vouchers. They are able to get voucher from the club regardless of where they live.
- Lifetime memberships are not transferable.
- Must complete yearly application.
- Based on a single address.
- Member must abide by all rules and bylaws of the club
- Non-refundable
- $250/ membership includes first year NYSSA dues. NYSSA dues are $5/yr after the first year.
- Available for the 2008-9 season.
- All proceeds will be deposited into the clubs membership account.

John Faulks will find or apply for Tax ID number.

Mark Barnes mentioned that the railroad has concerns about the Barclay road area. Apparently riders are going on the tracks and causing problem. He read from the rails to trails brochure. There is money available to get the right of way cleared for snowmobile/ATV use. The railroad is willing to work with the club.

We need two trail bosses for an ideal situation, a new one for Wallington railroad bed, one for BOCES to Rascals.

The BOD voted to approve costs for Hotel at the spring forum plus $.48/mile expenses.

Adjourned 9:00pm
