RETURN OUR MONEY NOW!
Assemblyman Bob Oaks and Wayne County Clerk
Mike Jankowski say RETURN OUR MONEY NOW!
New York State snowmobilers agreed to pay increased fees and were promised a dedicated fund to help develop more trails, increase snowmobile safety education and enforce the state’s snowmobile laws.
Instead, Albany’s backroom dealing and dysfunction took some of that money away. One million dollars was “swept” from the Snowmobile Trail Development and Maintenance Fund and put in a general fund in an attempt to help balance New York’s out-of-control spending.
Bob Oaks and Mike Jankowski are taking a stand against this deception. They are calling for the State to have a more open budget process and they are calling on the State to immediately return the $1 million that was paid by the men, women and children of our state’s snowmobiling community to the snowmobile trail
development and Maintenance Fund.
